Frequently asked questions about AI for Vegas businesses.

Plain answers on receptionists, chatbots, automations, AI video, custom agents, and AI-first web builds — pricing, timelines, integrations, ownership, and AI search optimization.

General

About LVAIA.

What does LVAIA actually do? +

LVAIA is the Las Vegas AI agency arm of Fix IT Technologies. We build production AI for small and mid-size businesses in Clark County — AI phone receptionists, website chatbots, workflow automations, AI video, custom multi-step AI agents, and full AI-first websites. Every engagement ships working software, not slide decks. We host, monitor, tune, and review transcripts weekly so the AI keeps getting smarter after launch.

Who is LVAIA for? +

Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, and broader Clark County businesses that are missing calls after hours, drowning in repetitive email, losing leads to slow follow-up, or watching competitors get cited in ChatGPT and Perplexity while their own brand stays invisible. Best fit: 5–250 employees, real phone or web inquiry volume, and a willingness to feed us the operational knowledge so the AI sounds like the business, not a chatbot.

Is LVAIA a real local company? +

Yes. LVAIA is a studio of Fix IT Technologies, an MSP and AI automation company. The team is local — we'll meet you in person in Vegas, Henderson, or Summerlin. We're not a reseller of someone else's platform; we build, host, and support every system ourselves.

AI Receptionists

24/7 phone answering, explained.

See the full service: /ai-receptionists

How does an AI receptionist actually work? +

We give you a phone number (or forward your existing one). When someone calls, an AI voice agent picks up in under one second, identifies itself as your business, answers questions from a knowledge base you control, can book appointments live into your Google Calendar / Calendly / Cal.com, takes detailed messages, and texts you instantly. Calls are recorded and transcribed. You read a weekly summary; we tune the prompt and knowledge base from real conversations.

Will the AI receptionist sound robotic? +

No. We use natural neural voices with sub-second latency. You can pick the voice (male/female, accent, energy level) and pace. Callers regularly hang up thinking they spoke to a real person. We can also tell them up-front it's an AI assistant — your call. Both options are legal in Nevada with proper disclosure when required.

Can the AI receptionist book appointments? +

Yes. It pulls real availability from your calendar and books the slot live during the call. Confirmation goes to caller and staff by text/email. It can also collect deposits via a payment link sent mid-call, qualify the caller against your rules (insurance accepted, service area, job size), and escalate edge cases to a human via SMS or warm transfer.

What happens if the AI can't answer? +

Three fallbacks: (1) it admits it doesn't know and takes a detailed message with the caller's contact info and the exact question, texting your team immediately; (2) it offers a warm transfer to your cell or staff line; (3) it offers to schedule a callback at a time you'll be available. You see the gap in next week's transcript review and we add it to the knowledge base — it never misses the same question twice.

How much does an AI receptionist cost in Las Vegas? +

Setup is $1,997 (knowledge base build, phone number provisioning, calendar/CRM integration, voice tuning, 2 weeks of staging tests). Monthly is $497 for the Boost tier — 500 minutes included, $0.49/min after. Heavier-volume Scale tier ($1,497/mo) bundles 2,000 minutes plus a chatbot. Lower than a part-time receptionist; never sleeps; doesn't quit.

Will it integrate with my existing phone system? +

Yes. We can forward your existing landline, VoIP, or cell to the AI receptionist with conditional rules — for example, AI picks up after hours and overflow only, your team takes the rest. We support RingCentral, Vonage, Nextiva, 8x8, Dialpad, OpenPhone, Google Voice, and standard PSTN forwarding. Migration is non-destructive — your current number stays yours.

Chatbots

RAG chatbots that don't make things up.

See the full service: /chatbots

What's the difference between an AI chatbot and a regular chatbot? +

Regular chatbots use rigid keyword rules and decision trees — fine until a visitor phrases something unexpected, then they break. Our chatbots use Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): we index your real website content, service docs, pricing, and policies into a vector database, and the AI answers from that ground truth with natural language. It handles paraphrases, follow-ups, and multi-turn conversations the way a smart employee would.

Will the chatbot make things up? +

We engineer against hallucination with three guardrails: (1) the bot is only allowed to answer from your indexed content, (2) we give it a strict system prompt that says "if you don't know, say so and offer to connect a human", (3) every conversation is logged and we review weekly for any drift. In practice, hallucinations are rare and we catch them in the weekly review before they become a pattern.

How long does chatbot training take? +

Standard build: 2 weeks. Week 1 we index your site, docs, and any policy PDFs, then build the knowledge base and write the prompt in your tone of voice. Week 2 you test, we refine, we launch. After launch, the bot keeps learning from real conversations — we review transcripts weekly and add any new questions to the knowledge base. The bot improves every week without you doing anything.

Where does the chatbot show up? +

Embedded in your website as a floating widget (bottom-right by default, color and avatar customizable), or as a full-page chat at a dedicated URL, or both. We can also wire it into Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp Business, and SMS — same brain, multiple channels. One source of truth, one weekly review.

What if my chatbot needs to take actions, not just answer? +

We add tool calls. The bot can check inventory, look up an order, book a meeting, create a ticket, file a quote, or trigger an n8n workflow — anything with an API. That moves the build into our Custom AI Agents tier, but the chatbot interface stays the same. Visitors don't have to learn a new pattern.

How much does an AI chatbot cost? +

Standalone chat starts at $297/mo with a $797 setup. The Boost website package ($497/mo) bundles a chatbot plus full SEO/AISO. Standalone is best when you already have a great website and just need the AI layer. Bundled is best when you also want the search-visibility lift.

Automation

Workflows that run themselves.

See the full service: /automation-services

What can your AI automate for my business? +

If it's repetitive, has rules, and touches a system with an API, we can automate it. Common Vegas business automations: routing inbound leads to the right sales rep with a Slack ping, drafting personalized follow-up emails from call transcripts, syncing bookings between calendar and CRM, auto-generating quotes and proposals, posting to multiple social platforms from one input, scraping competitor pricing, parsing invoices and pushing to QuickBooks, sending review requests after job completion.

What platform do you use for automation? +

We host n8n — an open-source workflow platform — on our own infrastructure for you. That means: no per-task vendor fees, no rate limits, no surprise pricing changes from a SaaS automation tool. You own the workflows. We host, monitor, and maintain them on a monthly retainer. If you ever leave, we hand you the workflow exports.

Can your automation connect to QuickBooks / Salesforce / HubSpot / etc.? +

Yes. n8n has 400+ native integrations and can hit any REST API. We've built automations for QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Monday, Asana, ClickUp, Zoho, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Stripe, Square, ServiceTitan, Jobber, Housecall Pro, and Twilio. If it has an API, we can wire it up.

How is this different from Zapier or Make? +

Zapier and Make charge per task. At any real volume they get expensive fast — $200–$2,000/mo isn't unusual for a single business. n8n on our infrastructure is flat-rate, with unlimited task runs. We also build, monitor, and version the workflows for you — Zapier/Make assume you'll DIY. Best for: businesses past their first 10K monthly automations or with sensitive data they don't want flowing through a third party.

How much does AI automation cost? +

$397/mo standalone includes hosting, 1 workflow build/month, monitoring, and unlimited runs on workflows we host. Heavier builds (multi-system orchestration, custom code nodes) bill at our agency rate during the build phase, then roll into the retainer once stable. Most Vegas SMBs see 8–20 hours/week of staff time recovered within 60 days.

AI Video

AI video for real campaigns.

See the full service: /ai-video

What kinds of AI video do you make? +

Product demos, service explainers, social ads, real-estate property walkthroughs, restaurant menu reels, training videos, and personalized outreach videos. We use top AI video models (Veo, Sora, Kling, Wan) plus traditional cuts and motion graphics where they fit better. We're not married to one stack — we use whatever delivers the result your audience expects.

How long does an AI video take to produce? +

A 30-60 second social ad or product demo typically ships in 3-5 business days from approved brief. Longer-form videos (90 seconds+) usually take 7-10 days. Rush turnaround is available. We always start with a written shot list and style frames so you approve direction before we burn render time.

Do I own the videos you produce? +

Yes. Full commercial usage rights for paid ads, organic social, your website, sales decks, anywhere you want. We retain a non-exclusive right to show the work in our portfolio (we'll always ask before using anything client-identifying).

How much does AI video cost? +

Single videos start at $497 for a 30-second social ad. Monthly retainers run from $1,497/mo (4 short videos) to $4,997/mo (12+ short videos plus 1 long-form). All include scripting, style frames, voice-over, captions, multiple aspect ratios for different platforms, and 2 rounds of revisions per asset.

Custom AI Agents

Multi-step AI workers, demystified.

See the full service: /custom-ai-agents

What is a custom AI agent? +

A custom AI agent is a multi-step AI worker built for one specific business process. Unlike a chatbot (single conversation) or an automation (predefined steps), an agent decides what to do next based on the situation. Examples: an outbound sales SDR that researches prospects then writes personalized email, an inbox triage agent that reads support email then routes / drafts replies / files tickets, a research analyst that monitors competitors and reports weekly.

When should I hire a custom AI agent instead of a chatbot or automation? +

Hire an agent when (a) the work involves judgment, not just routing — e.g., reading email and deciding whether to escalate; (b) the steps vary case-by-case rather than following a fixed flow; (c) the task currently takes a knowledge worker 30+ minutes per instance. Chatbots and automations handle the well-defined cases. Agents handle the messy in-between work that used to require a human's attention.

How much does a custom AI agent cost? +

$1,497/mo retainer covers one production agent — Claude / GPT / Gemini model costs, hosting, monitoring, weekly transcript review, and ongoing prompt tuning. Initial build is typically $2,997-$7,997 depending on complexity (number of tools, integrations, and edge cases). Most agents pay for themselves inside 60 days against the labor they offset.

AI-First Web Build

Websites that sell while you sleep.

See the full service: /ai-web-build

What's an AI-first website? +

A website where AI is wired in from day one — not bolted on later. Our AI-first builds include: a click-to-call button that goes to an AI receptionist 24/7, a website chatbot trained on your real content, lead capture pre-wired into your CRM, calendar booking on every CTA, schema markup so AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode) cite you, and Cloudflare CDN + SSL + Core Web Vitals tuning. Built to convert, not just to look pretty.

Will my new website rank in Google AND ChatGPT? +

Yes, that's the design intent. Every build ships with traditional on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, headings, sitemap, robots.txt) AND AISO (AI Search Optimization): JSON-LD schema (Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList), GPTBot / ClaudeBot / PerplexityBot explicitly allowed in robots, and Cloudflare Content-Signal headers so AI crawlers know your content is citable. We also submit to Google Search Console at launch.

WordPress, Webflow, or custom? +

Whichever fits. Webflow when design freedom and easy edits matter. WordPress when content velocity and a plugin ecosystem matter. Custom static HTML/Tailwind when speed, SEO rank, and minimal maintenance matter most — this is what we use for lvaia.com itself. We recommend the right stack for your situation, not the one we sell.

How much does an AI-first web build cost? +

Spark builds (5-7 pages + one AI integration) start at $4,500 one-time + $497/mo for hosting and ongoing tuning. Growth builds (10-15 pages + receptionist + chatbot + CRM + booking) run $9,500–$15,000 + monthly. Casino tier (custom apps, multi-location, complex integrations) is scoped per project. All builds include hosting, SSL, weekly review, and uptime monitoring.

What if I already have a website? +

We can bolt AI onto your existing site without a rebuild — receptionist, chatbot, automation, all wired in around your current design. If you want both the AI layer and a refreshed site, the bundled build is usually cheaper than doing them separately. We'll audit your current site free and recommend the cheaper path.

Pricing & Process

Money, timelines, and how we work.

See full pricing: lvaia.com/#pricing

What does LVAIA cost overall? +

Four standardized tiers. Spark $497/mo: AI receptionist OR chatbot, one integration, monthly review. Boost $1,997/mo: receptionist + chatbot + 2 automations + weekly review. Scale $4,997/mo: everything in Boost + custom agent + AI video + dedicated success manager. Casino: custom-scoped enterprise. À la carte: standalone chatbot $297/mo, standalone automation $397/mo, AI agent $1,497/mo, AI web build $4,500 one-time, custom AI video from $497.

Is there a contract or lock-in? +

No long-term contract. Month-to-month after the 90-day initial term (which covers the build and tuning period). 30-day notice to cancel. We hand you everything — prompts, knowledge base exports, n8n workflow files, code, design files. You own the work, we just run it for you.

How long until we go live? +

Receptionist: 2-3 weeks. Chatbot: 2 weeks. Automation: 2-3 weeks per workflow. AI video: 3-5 business days per asset. Custom AI agent: 3-5 weeks. AI-first web build: 4-6 weeks (Growth). All timelines include kickoff, build, your testing, and our tuning before launch — never a "deliver and disappear" pattern.

What does the weekly review look like? +

Every Friday we read every transcript and conversation the AI handled that week. We look for: questions the AI dodged, hallucinations, wrong tone, missed booking opportunities, and patterns we should automate further. You get a 1-page summary every Monday with what changed, what's working, what we'll improve next week. Tuning is included — no per-edit fees.

How do you handle data security and HIPAA? +

All hosting is in US data centers. Transit is TLS. Knowledge bases are encrypted at rest. We support HIPAA-compatible deployments (private LLM endpoints, BAAs from underlying providers, no caller PHI in unencrypted logs) for medical, dental, and behavioral health clients in Vegas — ask us for the specific compliance package. For general SMB use, we follow SOC-2-aligned practices but are not currently SOC-2 certified.

Do you serve clients outside Las Vegas? +

Yes — though we focus on Clark County so we can meet you in person. We have remote-only clients across the US and a handful internationally. The local-Vegas focus shows up in our search optimization (we rank your business locally) and our willingness to drive to your office. If you're outside the area, everything still works — we just won't be there for the coffee.

How do I get started? +

Book a free 30-60 minute scope call. We'll listen, ask about your current pain (missed calls, slow follow-up, repetitive email), recommend the right starting point (often just receptionist OR chatbot, not everything at once), and quote it. No pitch deck. No "discovery phase" fee. If we're not the right fit we'll tell you and refer you to someone who is.

Still have questions?

Talk to a real human for 30 minutes.

Free scope call. We'll listen to your situation, recommend the smallest useful starting point, and quote it. No sales deck.
